Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Take a domestic flight to Kisoro town, then enjoy a scenic 1-hour drive through local villages and the Kigezi region's rolling hills. Arrive at your lodge by midday for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi

After breakfast, head to the Rushaga sector for a briefing on gorilla habituation. Trek through Bwindi's rainforest with experienced guides, spending up to 4 hours with the gorillas. You'll also see other primates, birds, and diverse plant species.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi

Repeat the previous day's experience with another session of gorilla habituation. Overnight stay at Gahinga Lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park

Transfer to Mgahinga National Park for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules. Spend the day trekking and observing gorillas. Return for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi for a boat cruise, visiting various islands. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Overnight stay at BirdNest Lodge.

Day 6: Travel back to Kampala/Entebbe

Enjoy a morning breakfast by the lake, then travel to Kisoro Airfield for your flight back to Entebbe. Alternatively, you can travel by road to Kigali via the Katuna/Gatuna border.
